With the unique coach mode you can easily measure the distance from your ball to the pin while you are on the cart path, or from your playing partners ball. Ideal for those cart path only days. I have experienced this mode on the Vistaget Golvia Pro Rangefinder as well. Vistaget calls it triangulation mode, and it is great for those cart path only days.
• PinPoint Green Mode, for putting, specifically engineered to give precise distances to the pin and slope of the putting surface while on the green. I play with a guy that paces out every putt to find the exact distance of the putt. This would be perfect for him, taking all the guesswork out of putting and would speed up his play.

Inside, you’ll find the rangefinder itself, USB charging cable, the small holster with magnetic mount, lens cloth, and a user manual. These accessories provide everything needed for a straightforward and hassle-free setup.

Setting up the IONME2 is a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided in the user manual. There are two buttons on the top, a red triangle and a white circle.

The red triangle is the on button, and just like other rangefinders, you push it once to turn the unit on and then again to get the yardage to your intended target.

Check the battery installation and conduct test measurements to ensure the device operates correctly before first use.

One of the most striking initial impressions is how compact and lightweight the IONME2 is. Its small size makes it incredibly convenient to carry around, fitting easily into your pocket or golf bag. I wish it came with a protective carry case. At this price point a case should be included.

The IONME2 has three different modes that you can cycle through by pushing the white circle button. They are identified by a flag for normal operation, a green for Pinpoint Green Mode and a triangle for Coach Mode.

Access the menus by holding the white circle button, here you will find that there are six settings that you can cycle through:

• Slope on/off, advanced slope compensation gives you the true distance to the target. It is important to be able to turn this off if you play in sanctioned tournaments, as slope is usually not allowed. 
• Brightness of the red display, I have found the 2 setting to be about perfect for clear yardage reading in most conditions.
• Rain/fog mode, by turning this setting on, Mileseey's patented Signal Feature Extraction Processing (SFEP) technology, will automatically adjust in fog or heavy rain to ensure accurate distance readings.
• Vibration, I like the vibration mode and turn it on, because it vibrates when it locks on the target.
• Yards/meters, I am in the United States and we use yards, but if you are in a different country and use meters, you can change that setting here.
• Your height for PinPoint Green Mode, you have to enter your height, so that you can get pinpoint accuracy to the pin (within 1 cm) when you are using the Pinpoint Green Mode For Putts.
